aznkarateboi Posted August 20, 2003 Posted August 20, 2003 Which one do you prefer? How do they compare with each other? Which focus more on which aspects? What are similarities and differences between the three styles?
Tibby Posted August 20, 2003 Posted August 20, 2003 I voted jujitsu because I take it. I here hapkido is to the Korean’s what Jujitsu is Japan. While the Striking on Jujitsu resembles Karate to a small extent, so does Hapkido striking resembles Tea Kwon Bo a little. On top of that, I’m a fan of the Japanese art, I never really got into the Chinese styles to much, unless you count the old school Shoalin movies, lol.
ninjanurse Posted August 21, 2003 Posted August 21, 2003 I based my answer on personal experience-small circle ju jitsu. But it seems to me that the principles of all are the same, just different combinations and expressions. SBN Doug Posted August 21, 2003 Posted August 21, 2003 I've only take KSW, which is similar to Hapkido. Therefore, I refuse to vote as I have to experience in the other two. Kuk Sool Won - 4th danEvil triumphs when good men do nothing.
