Tal
i was wondering, what are the differences between western kickboxing and muay thai? i've never seen muay thai being practiced. is it very different from other forms of kickboxing? shotokan karate nidanjujitsu shodankendo shodan
TJS
Western Kickboxing came from full contact karate. It is Boxing but you can kick above the waist. Muay Thai allows Leg kicks, Knees, Clinching and elbows A muay Thai Fight is a whole diffrent ball game from wester kickboxing. leg kicks and the extended Clinch are the main reasons. CodyydoC
its a traditional dance the fighters do to pay respect to the gods their camp/trainer and the other fighter they do a counterclockwise circle of the ring to deflect any outside wishes or whatever from comin in the ring; they want their fighting spirits to come together naturally one on one most of the time one fighter wont watch another fighters ram muay so that they can go into battle not knowing what to expect this almost as important as the fight itself each camp has its own ram muay can u believe an american 14 year old knew all that spiritual stuff? BOO-YA I'M BAD! Codywhite belt in everything
