monkeygirl Posted August 15, 2003 Posted August 15, 2003 Ah. They must have had reruns on for quite a while. I remember when it first came out. Well, barely. I'm pretty sure Cartoon Network started showing Thundercats reruns recently. 1st dan & Asst. Instructor TKD 2000-2003No matter the tune...if you can rock it, rock it hard.
SBN Doug Posted August 15, 2003 Posted August 15, 2003 Ah. They must have had reruns on for quite a while. I remember when it first came out. Well, barely. I'm pretty sure Cartoon Network started showing Thundercats reruns recently. About a year or two ago. That was before CN started getting in the newer translated anime shows (Yu Yu Hakisho, Kenshin, etc.) Kuk Sool Won - 4th danEvil triumphs when good men do nothing.
Black Dragon Posted August 15, 2003 Author Posted August 15, 2003 Some of those "newer" anime shows are garbage, all show and no go. All the Gundam series were trash to me 99% of the show was talking. So recognize or be hospitalized Cuz literally on a scale from one to ten I'm 25.
Martial_Artist Posted August 15, 2003 Posted August 15, 2003 I loved Thundercats. Early Robotech and Voltron. He-Man was good. Who can forget old school Scooby Doo? battousai16 Posted August 15, 2003 Posted August 15, 2003 "Does anyone remember the Transformer toys? I used to get sooooo angry because I couldn't get the toy to go from a truck to a robot .... well, I was only 4 years old. I also remember trying to figure out the words to the theme song. "Robots in da eye", "Robots in the skies"...my brother and I went through several translations until we finally figured out (or maybe someone told us) that it was "Robots in disguise"! *sigh* Good times...'' hey, i second that. good times... "I hear you can kill 200 men and play a mean six string at the same time..."-Six String Samurai
G95champ Posted August 15, 2003 Posted August 15, 2003 GI Joe is the best. I love watching it still when it comes on Cartoon network. Transformers and He-Man were good to but nothing like GI Joe. (General George S. Patton Jr.) "It's the unconquerable soul of man, and not the nature of the weapon he uses, that ensures victory."
Red J Posted August 16, 2003 Posted August 16, 2003 Scooby doo rules. So does the Road Runner and Wile E. Coyote. I had to lose my mind to come to my senses.
G95champ Posted August 16, 2003 Posted August 16, 2003 O yeah you can't beat any of the Looney Toons. I was just going by the poll choices. The best Looney Toon IMO is Frog Horn Leg Horn. I say I say I say there now son. (General George S. Patton Jr.) "It's the unconquerable soul of man, and not the nature of the weapon he uses, that ensures victory."
monkeygirl Posted August 16, 2003 Posted August 16, 2003 Pepe Le Piu and the Cat!! I looooved those ones! From a very early age, these cartoons taught me the dangers of stinky, creepy boys 1st dan & Asst. Instructor TKD 2000-2003No matter the tune...if you can rock it, rock it hard.
Red J Posted August 16, 2003 Posted August 16, 2003 Speaking of Foghorn Leghorn and Dog, how about his nemesis "Chickenhawk". HAHAHAHA. I had to lose my mind to come to my senses.
