WolverineGuy
If memory serves, ju jutsu is the proper spelling...I don't remember exactly where the spelling changes came from. Tibby
Jiu Jitsu was around before BJJ, that was the spelling for the Word when used to discribe Judo when it was known as Kano Jiu Jitsu, with that spelling. Now that I think of it, I think we already had this topic in the forum some time. Someone want to look it up? I can't seem to find it. It was around the time I first started coming, I think. I think this topic was a little off-topic from the orginal thread, so finding it may be a little hard...
AndrewGreen
Same spelling in Japanese, differnt romanizations. However like kenpo/kempo different groups spell it differently. For example, if you see Jiu Jitsu it usually is Brazillian. But all are fine, and a few others as well Andrew Greenhttp://innovativema.ca - All the top martial arts news!
