But as for sparring, you may notice that the best guys are yes, relaxed, but also very good at reading people. You know when you're sparring someone so much better than you that you see the punch coming and still can't avoid it? (Curses! ) Seriously, try watching the people who have been fighting for 10 years. They react better not just because they're quick but also because they can see what you're going to do, sometimes before you even decide to do it. 99wheatleyj Posted May 10, 2004 Posted May 10, 2004 play hiden dot u wear sparing gloves heavey ones perferably and ur partner wears focus mits on all good focus mitts they should have a dot ur partener should hold the focus mitts like a hand of cards in a poker game and then put one or both of them so u can c the dot and u must punch or kick the dot a.s.a.p when u do this exercise try2 keep moving and on ur toes and try 2 emagain ur sparring with him and never drop ur hands
