yea its about technique really, it mite be worth building up your legs although you should have a pretty strong stance from training in shotokan

Shotokan Karate - brown belt 2nd kyu

Judo - Yellow belt

Jujustu - recently started, white belt

oh yeah good point simon...i'm not saying you shouldn't or don't have to work out i'm just saying that technique is more important than strength.

Actually, I'd say that speed, power and accuracy are #1, not just accuracy. If you don't have the speed and power to properly kazushi someone, then you will have to fight for the thrown anyway.

 

The other key element is timing.
