Martial Artist
That knowledge will come in time. Things like pressure points, merridiens and triggerpoints should really be taught by your Sifu, since its hard to explain on a BBS... you need a person to use the techniques on. I didn't startlearning too much about these things until around red and brown sash a few years ago... it REALLY kicks in around 2nd and 3rd degree black sash... well, it did in my Wing Chun system. May be different for you. kungfumaster
well the thing about dim mak (death touch) is that you have to develope a soft wet towl like energy to strike the points as the previous poster said its hard to explain. the most fun point to hit though in my opinion is the mastoid process wich is located right in th whole by your ear. pressure points are actually quite easy to hit than most of the others on the board will lead you to beleive. just bug your sifu and see if he knows some strikes. its alot easier to strike dim mak points with mantis fist or other have fist type strikes or total open hands. some people are able to hit the points effectively with normal strikes but that takes years and years of dedication. Im great you are not
wrestlingkaratechamp
Martial Artist you have an impressive list of ranks! Really cool! As for the pressure point I'm one of those people who think they are useless.
pvwingchun
Pressure points are only useless if you don't know how to use them. But as said that knowledge comes with time. Wing Chun Kuen Alliancehttps://www.wing-chun.us
