ramcalgary
The man is a legend..........his movie career not withstanding. he started from nothing and worked his butt off to become what he is and has today He is someone who should be looked up to for his attitude towards life and for what his kick drugs out of america has done for the kids who have entered that program. In the mid to late 60's he was unbeatable when point karate was more than glorified tag. Read his book it just might change the way you look at life ! Honor is the most important thing a man has once you lose it it is gone forever
TKD Chosen One
My instructor was one of Chuck's instructors for Chucks KDOOA program, I think he changed the name to KickStart. Anyways it's really interesting because Chuck taught his Chun Kuk Do style (which integrates many styles) at this program and now my instructor teaches tae kwon do and he puts in some of the stuff chuck taught him as well as his own stuff. It's pretty neat to see how styles can evolve with time. I think it helps to make styles well rounded.

Sens55
I think they've covered his MA career in previous posts. He was the real deal. But I'll still think of him as Braddock in those wonderful MIA movies. And let's not forget the Delta Force movies! Seriously, he's one of the first to help take MA skills into mainstream Hollywood. At that time it was a heck of a transition.
