Dark Contradiction Posted October 6, 2001 Posted October 6, 2001 If a member attends 4-5 lessons a week, then they will more than likely cover basics, Kata and 1 step and some bagwork, achieving a good mixture of what is required, but if there are members who only attend 1-2 lessons a week, do you think they should concentrate on techniques and kata, or sparring and bagwork? Not everything in life is what it seems.live in the moment and not in the past.your future is what you make it

Whatever their teacher tells them to. Honestly, at home you should concentrate on whatever needs the most work. Work them all. Try to not let yourself fall behind in any aspect because you are focusing too much on one thing. Once you seem to be at a consistant level, spend equal time in each aspect. You want to go "forward" not "backward." Take care Chris LaCavaJung Ki Kwan of Connecticut"Man is born soft and supple,in death he is hard and rigid..." LaoTzu
Joecooke007 Posted November 26, 2001 Posted November 26, 2001 They should concentrate on all areas but kata and technique first and when they advance alot they should work on all four. Boards don't hit back. -Bruce Lee
