gheinisch
For Martial Law: A Hanshi is a 9th or 10th dan and is considered to be a Grand Master. And you are correct, he is a very wise man, and I am blessed to be able to learn from him. sk0t
I feel that I began learning at white belt...I have Black belts in a few different styles, and there is always something to learn. Someone said once that: You have to live a lifetime before you live at all... And I believe that is a good quote for training... sk0t"I shall not be judged by what style I know, but how I apply that style againsts yours..." SBN Doug
I think I've stated this before, but when I received by BB (after 4 1/1 yrs) my master told me: "Now you are ready to begin your martial arts training." I've always remembered that. Kuk Sool Won - 4th danEvil triumphs when good men do nothing.
Kyle-san
It's odd, but the style of Jujitsu I'm taking right now only has one level of black belt. Once you reach it, it's just assumed you'll keep learning and perfecting techniques without the need to keep adding ranks to yourself.
DokterVet
I think that is a good idea... once you reach a certain point, I don't think you need any more ranks. In other news, I just got my black belt last night. Wooo! Time to start learning, eh? 22 years oldShootwrestlingFormerly Wado-Kai Karate
