Radok Posted September 17, 2003 Posted September 17, 2003 You always gotta throw in the little boy crap, doncha? If you can't laugh at yourself, there's no point. No point in what, you might ask? there's just no point. Many people seem to take Karate to get a Black Belt, rather than getting a Black Belt to learn Karate.

wrestlingkaratechamp Posted September 18, 2003 Posted September 18, 2003 some people are like that (yall know what I mean)
superfighter Posted September 18, 2003 Posted September 18, 2003 lol take a look at how quickly Jushin Thunder Liger was defeated, that must have been humiliating for him. Shows that he's only good inside the pro wrestling ring.
Warp Spider Posted September 18, 2003 Posted September 18, 2003 but in that link, practically all of the wrestlers lost... trying to figure out what that link was supposed to prove. Actually about half of those times the wrestlers won. But still, those were all crappy wrestlers. I'd wager Brock Lesnar, "The Big Show" (Paul Wight), John Cema, "Kane", and likely some others would really clean up in MMA, but considering how much they make as WWE Superstars it's not really worth their time. superfighter Posted September 18, 2003 Posted September 18, 2003 i wouldn't mind seeing someone like low-ki having a go at mixed martial arts.
superfighter Posted September 18, 2003 Posted September 18, 2003 Now that i think about it was Vader ever a part of mixed martial arts?, i heard somewhere that he had a background in shootfighting.
Drunken Monkey Posted September 19, 2003 Posted September 19, 2003 well, like i keep saying, if anyone was even thinking of entering that sort of competition, they would be mad not to train for it. those guys you mentioned are, as far as i am aware, are highly trained individuals (with lots of potential) but that doesn't automatically mean that they are good fighters. but then that could be fixed with some proper training against real hits etc etc. post count is directly related to how much free time you have, not how intelligent you are."When you have to kill a man it costs nothing to be polite."

Warp Spider Posted September 25, 2003 Posted September 25, 2003 Now that i think about it was Vader ever a part of mixed martial arts?, i heard somewhere that he had a background in shootfighting. Darth Vader! He'd do good in MMA, if he were real. Paladin - A holy beat down in the name of God!
