What good is board breaking really?

Recommended Posts

we learnt breaking to help us understand chi and learn to apply it. breaking has helped me to focus my strength when i strike, and my strikes became a lot stronger when i started breaking. sure, there are alternatives to breaking. its not necessary, its just one way of doing things.

not everyone will benefit from breaking. if it doesn't do anything for you, stop and do something different. perhaps you already have the skills that breaking is meant to teach.

If you really want to break something that resembles bone, then go buy a pig from the butcher and practice on that. I still don't know what that would prove either.

lol, it is a great movie, but it is to slow in starting, that the action doesn't last long enough. The Battle seens were cool! Good idea, training on a pig. To bad the cost so much, lol.
