goshinman
I currently study JJJ and I am leaning toward adding some serious striking to my stand up game. I am leaning more towards San Shou since there is a school near by but I'll be honest and say I really favor it because I recently saw a tape featuring Chung Le and this dude is awesome!! But I have heard Kyokushin is great because of the full contact fighting and the hard training. Both styles incorporate throws so they should be easy to blend in with Japanese jujutsu clinch grappling, which is the only reason I didn't include Muay Thai in this mix. What do you all think? Tapped out, knocked out, or choked out...Take your pick.http://jujitsu4u.com/http://www.combatwrestling.com/http://gokor.com/
Kirves
Kyokushin has very little throwing. Especially if the dojo is tournament-inclined.
cross
I think either would be good. Remember, Chung Le is good, but that doesnt mean everyone who does San Shou will be. Its the same with kyokushin.
aznkarateboi
San Shou has is known for its throws, i don't think kyokushin has that many, san shou also has sweeps. san shou is also full contact
devilthaiboxer
Kyokushinkai is full contact aswell and there are sweeps and throws but i dont think they use the throws much in sparring but more as self defence bunkai. They are allowed to sweep as in tapping the opponents foot with one of theres to off balance or drop the opponent. I'd quote bruce lee but to me he's just another person who got lucky
