Kyokushin Posted July 29, 2003 Posted July 29, 2003 Does anyone know if you can just get the stand for the Powerline Wavemaster? I need a new one, but don't know where to get just the stand. If you know of a site please post it. Thanks Sempai Emily2nd Kyu-Brown Belt---The true essence of the Martial Way can only be realized through experience. Tombstone Posted July 30, 2003 Posted July 30, 2003 I don't think you can get just the stand. You'll probably have to order a new one.
rb Posted July 30, 2003 Posted July 30, 2003 Dunno if this is the cheapest but a google search turned up this http://www.karatedepot.com/tr-bg-99.html Assuming you busted your base why would you want another one. I'd go with a heavy bag.
Kyokushin Posted July 30, 2003 Author Posted July 30, 2003 Actually I didn't bust it. The place where I kept my equipment moved it around. For the longest time it was completely lost, but today when I went to get it I finally found the top part. The people there are idiots so they won't be able to help me find the base. Thanks for the replies too. I found someone who can get me a free stand . Sempai Emily2nd Kyu-Brown Belt---The true essence of the Martial Way can only be realized through experience. G95champ Posted July 30, 2003 Posted July 30, 2003 May want to check Ebay if someone is selling one cheep. (General George S. Patton Jr.) "It's the unconquerable soul of man, and not the nature of the weapon he uses, that ensures victory."
Tombstone Posted July 31, 2003 Posted July 31, 2003 I have one but its not broke. It's actually leaning pretty bad at the moment though.
granmasterchen Posted August 1, 2003 Posted August 1, 2003 if you are talking about the ones that have a large base and are then filled with sand or water, then yes, i have broken 10 of those now, i am the worst nightmare for those that buy them at the gyms on the bases that i have been to. I usually break them with in a couple of minutes of use everytime i do a side kick and when i start into my punching routine along with elbow strikes and palm strikes, the things arent tough enough for me, i am not trying to sound tough or anything, but that is one type of pad that just gets broken, i favor the heavy bags they only tear up the ceiling That which does not destroy me will only make me stronger
