Tibby Posted July 31, 2003 Posted July 31, 2003 Like I said before, the Judo of Judo isn't Kano's Judo, but Kano's Judo was still a sport. You can use it for self defence, yes, but I've always beleived it was made as a sport. It is toned down JuiJitsu, why would Kano do that if not for sports reasons?
