I find it interesting to note that the US military has allegedly been using Metallica music as an aid in the interrogation process. So it could very well be that they have been playing "Enter Sandman"!

Personally, I would have considered that my contribution tothe war effort, but is that how Metallica views it? Noooooo.....

Of course, Metallica freaked out and said "those people never did anything to us!" Next thing you know, Metallica will be upset that people don't spend enough time listening to their albums after they buy them!

Don't get me wrong, I love Metallica, but they can be funny sometimes

AND Barney music, "I lvoe you, you love me" Hey, whatever works, right? lol

Wasp, I don't know, bro, Where will he go? The other Arab nations hate him more then they hate us because they feal he didn't put up a good enough fight, lol. Remimber those news reposts when we first took Iraq? They where like "Well, we still hate America, but Saddam fought like a puss!" lol

Or that they don't wish to associate their music with regime change or other political squables.

Nothing funny about it.

Yeah, but the middle east isn't that big. He could have gone to Cuba when there was first talk of war. He could be in China or Switzerland or even America. I wouldn't make the assumption that he could only be in Iraq or an Adjacent country. He could be anywhere in the world.

lol, it is hilarious! I’m a big fan of the older stuff, but all Metallica has done for the past few years is bitch and moan! The had one album come out recently, that is about it. They Whine about this, they whine about this! I’m sick of hearing their asinine dribble!

Personally, I’d rather have my name be associated with the over throwing of a ruthless Dictator over some silly “political squabbles” over MP3s, which is a hope cause anyway!

Metallica is coming to SLC next Wednesday and I decided not to go because

1. Their last album wasn't worth my time and I'm not going to go to support it

2. Paying more than $50 for a concert ticket doesn't appeal to me when their last album is not all that great.

In regards to the post, I think if someone made you listen to your favorite group/song over and over constantly for a few days, you probably would get sick of that song also.

They should play those 3 tones that play when you call a number that has been disconnected, that would drive them mad!
