Kamidake
I don't know anyone who does it, but I read a little about it. The founder tried to imagine a defense for every conceivable attack so there are about 500 techniques. Whew.
Sho-ju
It's more like 5000... It's similar to TJJ (tradition Japanese Jiu jitsu) but some school have added a lot of TKD to it. Other schools added more judo type throws.
Tibby
I understand it is just Korean Jujitsu. I heard they have a little more striking then JuiJitsu.
Sight for Sore Eyes
well i train in okinawan karate and hapkido. as i understand it, its like aikido only much more aggressive in that you dont take them down easy but hard. the best way to describe this is through steven segal. his style is aikido but the way he does it is much more like hapkido. the stuff is fun and effect thats for sure! Sho-ju
Real hapkido is hard to find, now days it's mostly Tae Kwon Do with wrist locks. I was told not to take hapkido in a dojang where TKD is being taught as well, to seek out a dojang that only taught hapkido without any blending of TKD. The point behind this...to make sure your teacher is teaching hapkido and not TKD with wrist locks.
Sight for Sore Eyes
do a search on https://www.martialinfo.com. i found 2 schools that did hapkido in new york city, and they did only hapkido. decent sites as well.
