Taesujutsudrw Posted June 24, 2001 Posted June 24, 2001 Well to tell you the truth...I am just about a year away for 50. Well the breaking is left up to you..there is a lot more to TKD than breaking boards. I know you did well on your test..keep up the good work. Peace, Tae Kyoshi Deborah R. iamrushman Posted June 24, 2001 Posted June 24, 2001 dreamer.....early congratulations to you.....i know you did fine with your test.......since you didn't mention not breaking your board, that tells me you did. i have broken many a board and brick during my martial arts studies enjoying the excitment it brings. but personally i (and i'm sure your husband) enjoys a womans nice soft hands and feet.(smile) so i recommend you keep the breaking techniques to a minimum. again congratulations on your nice bright yellow belt . and keep up the good work rushman (karate forums sensei)3rd dan wtf/kukkiwon"saying nothing...sometimes says the most"--e. dickerson
dreamer38f Posted June 24, 2001 Posted June 24, 2001 oh, don't worry, i am and will always be 100% female! yes i did get the board broke on the second try, but like i said, it was just a challange in my mind to attempt this...was not why i migrated to this area of the arts. but i am on my way now...i am really enjoying this forum and all the insights that everybody has If you think you can't, then you must. If you must, you will.
