fighting attitude

Recommended Posts

Relaxed and usually funny.

Keeps me calm and gets the other guy to stop thinking.

I'm cool. I am placid and wait for my opponent. Then as soon as he twitches to make a move POW!!! I'm on him. (Or her :brow: )

I keep asking God what I'm for and he tells me........."gee I'm not sure!"

It is a good idea to stay level headed, yes. But you should also learn to use your emotions as a tool when fighting. We are not robots.

Wind, fire, earth, and water are in a sense emotional states we all go through when fighting as well as in life. It can help you handle situations better. Use your emotions to help you not hinder you. Your body knows what to do, let it.

yes, treebrach i use my adrenaline rush, but in an all out rage of thrashing. I use it to make my techniques have more power and speed

The amateur shoots his hands out ferociously, but lacks any true power. A master is not so flamboyant, but his touch is as heavy as a mountain.

Aznkarateboi That's fine but what if you are protecting a loved one or trying to get through one person in order protect your girl friend or someone important to you. In some cased waiting for the attack might not be the best thing to do. All your options must be open to you, always.

I am an aggressive fighter. If someone doesn't attack me I get bored so it tends to be me making the first moves, and my opponent countering. I do get angry sometimes, but it is usually only with certain people. Like if the person is really good at footwork I get annoyed b/c it's so hard to even get near them to attack. Bad habit that I've gotta work on :karate: .

My fighting style is kind of like telsuns'. I usually wait for them to make the first move and counterattack.

I try to intercept rather than counter.

I gave my sparring strategy. My fight strategy is assertive (I can't think of the right word, I'll post it when I do). But basically I will hit as soon as things are getting heavy. However due to my sparring practice I would like to think that I would be able to respond if he has the same idea......
