I would like to know the Main associations of TKD in the United States. Since each association goes by its own way of teaching I figure that I should try to find the biggest more widespread Association, so when I move I can do TKD that is the closest to one another. If that Made any sense... plz post below.

i used to do TKD i trained under the ITF another association of TKD is the WTF which is more of the olympic style from what i understand

 

there is too much politics in TKD and that is one of the reasons i left

there is also the A.T.A., american taekwondo assiociation.....they mostly run a closed system that is very commercialized (but most schools are these days) and have no open tourniments....they run a point/stop type of tourney.....they have an intense and very educational instructor's program.......... what little information i know about them.......... :nod:
