Lu Bu: Shudokan does do weapons. Tonfa is one of these weapons. We use the traditional weapons of Okinawan farmers/peaseants. I do not visit this site often, but I will try to check in if you have further questions.

Had I the Heavens Embroidered Cloths

Enwrought with the Gold and Silver Light

The Blue, the Dim, the Dark Cloths,

on Night, Light, and the Half Light,

I would spread these cloths under your feet.

But I, being poor, have only my Dreams.

I have spread my Dreams under your feet.

Tread softly, for you tread on my Dreams. --W.B.Y.

Shudokan,

I'd be interested to hear the Shudokan perspective on how these weapons came to be. I.E.. the origins of the sai, nunchaku, tonfa, etc. Does Shudokan generally think that these weapons evolved from farm equipment, horse bridles, millstone handles, etc?

No ulterior motives here, I'm just curious. Some schools have some very diverse opinions on where these weapons come from, but it doesn't change the fact that they are very effective.. fun, too :)

I'm no longer posting here. Adios.
