G95champ
Yeah Pearl got us in WWII. However we were already openly suppring England sending them food, guns, tanks, plans, ships, etc. It was a matter of time before we got in. Yeah the Japanese knew about NZ. Their goal was a pacific empire you guys were the next step after Indonesia and before Australlia. Prob. is they got greedy and hit us first and we saved the day, with you help of course. History is always written by the victors. The Egyptinans, Greeks, Romans, Chineses, French/Brittish and now the Americans. Some one will write it after us Im sure. (General George S. G95champ
alright, i'll read up on that. but again, you seem to be thinking that hitler was just at the top of the latter, he killed quite a few people himself. Wong.... Hitler was very clean with it came to the Jews. In WWI sure he prob. killed a few. Durring the night of the Long Knives aka Hummingbirds when he orderd his political rivals killed he may have stabbed a few. But when it came to the camps he turend that over to Himmler and he NEVER assoicated with knowing about it much less going to them and taking part. (General George S. Patton Jr.) "It's the unconquerable soul of man, and not the nature of the weapon he uses, that ensures victory."
battousai16
gah! you all type to fast! but i think her point is (at least it is when i make it) is that the text books always say "oh, the wonderful americans recognized the evil in hitlers ways and saved them all because they're so generous".... i dunno, that's not how i ever percieved it... Shorin Ryuu
I teach about them. The Batton Death March..... Worse than any camp Hitler had. Read about that. The Bataan Death March was a strange thing. Most of the atrocities committed were actually done by Koreans serving in the Japanese Army...history is funny like that...and by funny I do mean messed up... I really like to use ellipses... ... ... G95champ
I will make and have made the argument that our treatment of the American Indian in the 1870's-1890's is right on the same scale of mass murder. Only differane is it was on the battlefield and not in prison camps. America is no angel but our reccord is cleaner than most. (General George S. Patton Jr.) "It's the unconquerable soul of man, and not the nature of the weapon he uses, that ensures victory."

Some one will write it after us Im sure.Irritating though it may be, that's a very good point. Still, that doesn't make it any better. Even if written in a genuinely impartial and factual manner the American's would look good, as you were. I'm not trying to take away from what you did. But at least then it wouldn't look quite so much like you need to indoctrinate your youth in blind patriotism. For a country obsessed with free-will etc etc that seems awfully coersive. Shorin Ryuu
Rwanda: Most of the world was responsible for that one. Instead of calling it genocide, the UN conveniently labeled it "civil unrest" because if they called it genocide, they would have had to do something. Nevermind the fact that the death count was in the hundreds of thousands. Martial Arts Blog:http://bujutsublogger.blogspot.com/

G95champ
Korea at the time was part of Japan and had been for some time. Thats like me saying auschwitz is in Austria and the Jews killed their were killed by Austrians. BTW Hitler was Austrian not German. (General George S. Patton Jr.) "It's the unconquerable soul of man, and not the nature of the weapon he uses, that ensures victory."
