what style did the rolling sobat kick come from i know it's a funny looking jump spin back kick but where did it come from, somebody told me kickboxing. what does sobat mean?

well, the people in the photo are wearing WTF dobok, and the kick looks like what is known as a spinning back kick

A Black Belt is just a white belt that don't know when to quit!

The picture is definitely of a jump back kick (sorry, I don't use many Korean terms :) ), I've done it many times before.

 

However, the term sobat...I'm almost certain that's a Russian word. *hops off to investigate*

 

...OK I just asked my mom (who, by the way, was a Russian linguist for the Army 20 years ago), and she's pretty sure it means "Sunday" or "Sabbath". That's not 100%, though.
