sunchaser
Hello, I'm new to the arts but have been participating in sports my whole life. For lack of a better way to describe it I tend to get knocked out easily. (I've seen many doctors and this is not a problem medically for me) My question is how common is it to get knocked out. Has anyone here been knocked out? Thanks Jill
Shotokan_Fighter
no i havnt ever been knocked out "When I fight, I fight with my heart, and soul. SaiFightsMS
Actually I have gotten knocked out several times. Unfortunately it was back in the days when I used a manual wheel chair. I had a bit of a lack of upper body strenght and sometimes had to struggle to go up ramps. Sometimes the ramp one and I flipped over backwards. Shotokan_Fighter
sai fights that would hurt and suck to be knocked out that way. "When I fight, I fight with my heart, and soul. G95champ
Not yet and I hope never to be. (General George S. Patton Jr.) "It's the unconquerable soul of man, and not the nature of the weapon he uses, that ensures victory."
CheekyMusician
Well I've only been in martial arts for a year, but I've not been knocked out. Although once at Aikido a guy tossed me over his arm with a wee bit too much vigour and somehow I managed to land on my head. I didn't get knocked out, though, just sort of bounced off the ground head first. Smile. It makes people wonder what you've been up to.
