Kodek Posted October 2, 2001 Posted October 2, 2001 I'm curious as to what other people think on the subject of the possibility of Guliani being allowed to stay in office another term. He has expressed a desire to stay in office during this whole ordeal and 2/3 of his opposition have said that the job is significantly less desirable to them at this point in time. In my opionion, he has done one heck of a job as Mayor even before this tragedy. Since this tragedy I believe that his dedication to the city and good judgement has really surfaced. I think that the city and state officials should let him have a continuation of term. Again, these are my opinions and how I view Guliani. I am curious to know what everyone else thinks.
Patrick Posted October 2, 2001 Posted October 2, 2001 I think that he should be able to. For one thing: Who is gonna run for the mayor of New York and try to get votes with the stuff happening? This is no time to be campeigning. I think that should allow him to stay in office. kicker Posted October 2, 2001 Posted October 2, 2001 Can you answer my questions??? Is this some election???? and whos Guliani???? when you do your best it`s going to show. "If you watch the pros, You will learn something new"
Kickbutt Posted October 2, 2001 Posted October 2, 2001 He's the mayor of New York - and he's technically not allowed to run for another term, as there are limits as to how long you can stay in office (like the Presidential Office as well). Yes, there will be another election, however I also believe now is not the time. Giuliani should stay in office, for the time being anyways - he has in fact done an amazing job as mayor - before and after the events of Sept. 11th and I think the people of New York would like that as well, as he has been like a rock throughout this ordeal. If you think something small cannot make a difference - try going to sleep with a mosquito in the room.-Unknown-

taezee Posted October 2, 2001 Posted October 2, 2001 i think hes done a great job here in new york for us..he should be allowed to stay in until a special election can be made until we get back to a more normal status..although we new yorkers have a reputation as being though we are all still shaken and are looking to him to continue to lead..now is not a good time for him to step down.. Master of Puppets Posted October 3, 2001 Posted October 3, 2001 To change leaders now is just a bad idea. Keep Giuliani in office. He's done an outstanding job, particularly in this crisis. To change leaders would throw NYC into disarray. Master of Puppets
