at the time i was taking san soo and judo, he started talking trash and it escalated. He stepped towards me and threw a right straight. I stepped to my left while grabbing his arm and pulling it further threw straight into ippon seoinage ( one arm shoulder throw ) he hit the ground and laid there for about 20 seconds then started to roll a little and moan alot. His friends were stunned too but just to be safe I said in a low growl " Anyone else? " And did a quick kick to one of his friends groin who stepped foward then fell straight down, I walked off after that. This took place in a park I like to go to where a bunch of skater kids were there.

The amateur shoots his hands out ferociously, but lacks any true power. A master is not so flamboyant, but his touch is as heavy as a mountain.

just last thursday actually, three guys, i was the victor. but i have to be honest, one guy was over weight, and i throw a skinny tall dude into him and then side kicked them both (i got the skinny guy by angling manuver when he tried a haymaker on me) and the third guy? i used a technique i call "The fist of David": I acted scared out of my mind, acted like i tried to run and then triped, and when i went down picked up a good sized pice of loose concrete and hurled it at the one i thought had the best chance of beating me.

iv been in one street fight, 2 but one nothing really happened. anyways this kid seen that i was in karate and he came up to me in school, and started talkind smack to me about karate, and i hate it when ppl do that. and hes like so you mr. karate man, why dont you show me karate after school, and i wasnt gonna act like a wuss and decline it, so i was like ok, you dont know what your getting yourself into, then he pushed me into my locker, man do you know how hard it was not to drop him right then and there with a reverse punch. i met him after school at a local park and he started talking more smack and i was like are we gonna do this or what, i knew i could beat this kid anyways, so hes like yeah and ran at me with a wild haymaker punch and i just steped back rising blocked his punch, and bam reverse punch into his floater rib, i herd it crack. he fell straight to the ground, he had a buddy with, his eyes about bulged out of his head, i said what do you want some to, he just yelled no! and i left and he picked up his freind who was gasping for air. fight ended as quick as it started.

You act as though it's unfortunate your martial arts skills are untested in actual combat. Martial arts are supposed to teach mental, emotional, and physical control. Avoiding fights isn't necessarily a good goal, but I think channeling them into verbal confrontation is better than getting into a fistfight. Just like in the physical sense, you're well off if you can channel both your own actions and those of your opponent.

Of course, that's easy to say, since I'm a girl...most guys wouldn't hit me, and most girls just resort to hair-pulling.
