Athena
Just because your instructor has a tendency to bounce like a boxer, and likes to hit to the head, is no reason to address him as 'Little Bunny Foo Foo' and tell him you're tired of being bopped.can't....breathe! *face turns red* "awe, can't you choose someone else to beat up?" (for those who are always the guini pig of the clas...i wouldn't suggest it *shrugs*um i wouldn't really know because i'm not in a school (money *growls*) Strike first. 'Til then i will not fight you. Everytime someone calls JKD a style, Bruce turns over. Why do I love Bruce Lee? Not because he was an awesome martial artist- but because his train of thought overlapped with mine even before I knew about him. Thank you karate forums, for introducing me to Bruce Lee

cnada
I'm not sure if this is actually funny, but this IS true (for me at least): Don't EVER tell your instructor that you suck at something-- you WILL get yelled at! Rateh
"I already have it perfect"One of my 7 year old students told me this when I told him to practice the things for his test next week. I had the students working on whatever they wanted, so long as they were working. He told me he had everything perfect, and thats why he wasn't working on anything... I told him to practice his stepping punches up and down the floor till I said stop.
