WhiteBelt Posted July 14, 2003 Posted July 14, 2003 You just have to take out Van Damme's right leg and you've won. I don't think I've ever seen him kick with his left leg.
kilo Posted July 15, 2003 Posted July 15, 2003 I hoping for a mutual kill. Kendo is like starwars and everyone gets to be Darth Vader."Luke, I am your sensei"
G95champ Posted July 15, 2003 Posted July 15, 2003 This is a question best settled in a friendly game of checkers I would think. (General George S. Patton Jr.) "It's the unconquerable soul of man, and not the nature of the weapon he uses, that ensures victory."
ninjanurse Posted July 15, 2003 Posted July 15, 2003 I hoping for a mutual kill. Ditto! "A Black Belt is only the beginning."Heidi-A student of the artsTae Kwon Do,Shotokan,Ju Jitsu,Modern Arnishttp://the100info.tumblr.com/
Shorin Ryuu Posted July 22, 2003 Posted July 22, 2003 van Damne stopped being good after he started drinking heavily. I actually don't know how good he was in real life, but Bloodsport and Kickboxer were awesome movies, in my opinion. Most of his other ones were just terrible... SaiFightsMS Posted July 23, 2003 Posted July 23, 2003 This thread does not meet the guidelines for this area of the forum.KarateForums.com is one of the most active and successful Martial Arts communities online. It is no secret that this is because of our intolerance of inappropriate behavior. These forums are built on respect. Comparing Martial Art styles, on the other hand, is something that often leads to people acting immaturely and inappropriately. So, why do we have them? Because, as long as they are constructive, they create informative and intriguing discussions. Purpose of this forum The purpose of this forum is to constructively discuss the similarities and differences between different martial arts. An example would be to discuss the differences in kicking styles between two arts. This is NOT to be used as a "which is best" argument. Any post or thread resembling "Karate vs. TKD - which would win?" will be removed immediately. This includes "what is the best MA" topics. We want to promote the exchange of knowledge and ideas, not arguments among those we call friends. Here are the guidelines: Be Respectful - Maintain respect for your fellow forum members and their chosen styles. Do not attack or demean them in any way. Keep Your Posts Clean - No profanity. No vulgarity of any kind. Do Not Repeat Yourself - State your point once. Do not post the same point over and over and over again. Also, try to keep your posts at a moderate length. Report It and Ignore It If there is a post that you feel breaks these guidelines and/or personally offends you, please private message a Sensei or myself with a plain message and we will take the appropriate action. The "appropriate action" may not be to your liking. What About Free Speech? Doesn't exist. This is a private community and we are under absolutely no obligation by law to uphold free speech. We, of course, do want to allow you to express your opinion in a constructive and respectful manner. However, your right to speak ends when you leave the realm of constructive and respectful. If there comes a time when most of the threads in the forum are closed, or most of the threads started degenerate rapidly, this forum will cease to exist, either temporarily or permanently.
