Probably not cos it's only in Australia and New Zealand but it's like 1/3 muay thai 1/3 grappling and 1/3 old style stuff from karate and stuff like that just wanting too know you thoughts on it if you have heard of it. :brow:

Yeah, 'twas my first martial art if i remember correctly. I did it for about 2.5 years, and it was very kickboxeresque. I did an ungraded version of it under my brother. Hmm, if i ever come across a zendokai school i might join up again.

Liam pretty much summed it up in his post up the top. It's a VERY hardcore style and it seems to try and cover every aspect of fighting, not just one. It's called zendokai KARATE but it's very different form other forms of karate i've ever seen. I have a mate who did something that he thought was similar, called Zen Chi Ryu, but i don't think it was quite a grapply as zendokai.

:nod: yeh pretty much I had my 2nd itro class today i learnt the kata i tihnk its called where u have too do like throws an stuff

 

got my 1st class tomoro night hope too advance pretty quickly through the ranks im gonna work pretty hard on my conditioning escpecially my shins :cool:

Good on ya... zendokai's one of the only forms of 'karate' i like... Unfortunately u still have to do kata in it - but kata IS the heart of karate.

Yeh i dunt like much martial arts as i thought all the fancy stuff wudnt help you in a fight untill i heard of Muay Thai and saw some lessons of Zen Do Kai what i like about Zen Do Kai is it's the best of everything in progession and does include basic muay thai and elbows and knees :wink:
