SaiFightsMS Posted November 28, 2001 Posted November 28, 2001 Ah Joe you have much enthusiasm and much to learn. It is fascinating to study the history of the martial arts and the back ground of many of the arts contributers. Bruce Lee is revered becasue he was one one the ground breakers in teaching non-orientals. You need to watch Enter the Dragon. Sounds like you might enjoy several trips to the library and a deal of research to start you on your way.
SaiFightsMS Posted June 20, 2002 Posted June 20, 2002 Okay I tried to link a new thread to this and it didn't work. So here is what was said before about the one inch punch.
Ti-Kwon-Leap Posted June 21, 2002 Posted June 21, 2002 The One Inch Punch involves positioning your body in a mechanically advantageous stance, with your fist an inch from your opponent/stuntman. What is then required is the ability to relax all your muscles and then "explode" as bruce puts it, thus knocking your opponent/stuntman on his keester. It can be a punch or a "push" depending on where you focus it, and the speed you can attain in that short distance. Ti-Kwon-Leap"Annoying the ignorant since 1961"
