They were not as cheap as liverpool victoria though, in fact they were about £800 more!

I think im sticking with my black arosa 1.4tdi...... :brow:

£800 more :o :o Go with Liverpool Victoria  When I first got a car I just took out the cheapest insurance I could find. Build up your no claims and the options will open up to you.

Every time I see a black Arosa Joanne, I will think of you............

I keep asking God what I'm for and he tells me........."gee I'm not sure!"

a little bit late but i'm in love with the toyota yaris t-sport...

it's just about fast enough to fend off the nova brigade but still gives you at least 40mpg, insurance isn't too high and being a japanese car it is virtually bombproof (but not saxo proof as i discovered... fekking saxo drivers...).

whatever you get, have fun and don't let them baseball capped saxo drivers get in your way!

ive noticed that most people that own saxo's are the boy racer types. I think they are lovely cars but idiots rag them around and thats why the insurance is quite high for them now. I could never risk buying a 2nd hand saxo.

(apologies to all nice people that own saxo's and dont rag them around!) :)

i know, they are nice little cars (much like the 106 that it is based on) and yup, it is the baseball cap brigade that ruin it's reputation.

very much like bmw. they are all loverly cars but would you really buy one? cos that would be joining the "rep brigade", the "asian youth brigade" and the "want people to think i'm rich so i'll de-badge my 316 brigade" all at the same time...

now i'm sure i've offended a lot of people out there cos i am just stereotyping but i am also sure you understand what i mean.

in any case, apologies if i have offended for that was not my intention.

Why not get a Ford F-150 super crew cab 4x4 short bed?

The new Hemi Dodge quad cab 4x4 looks nice too.

The F-150 is only a half-ton, but I guess it's pretty big compared to european or asian trucks. Nice truck though, and if it's the 4x4 you can take it off-road.

Well, there are asian and european cars in North America, so I would expect that they have imported "American" vehicles as well. F-150 is a tough truck, not bad for a first time driver, because if you hit something with it it'll be fine. :P

EDIT: If you don't want to get a high-end exotic like I suggested above (don't know why you wouldn't want to, but meh) I'd recommend getting a classic muscle car or other "antique" car. People may laugh, but if you restore it you can turn a lot of profit when you resell it. Newer cars will depreciate, older cars will appreciate, even if their condition does not improve.
