Iwant2BaDragon Posted November 22, 2001 Posted November 22, 2001 In japan black is the colour of death and mourning so its probably not good if its worn and other colours seem to also symbolize thigs, white would appear to be the safest option, however lol, it would look better in black ! Empty your mind : be formless, shapeless like water. Now you can put water inot a cup and it becomes that cup. Now water can flow and it can crash. Be water.
bagpuss Posted November 22, 2001 Author Posted November 22, 2001 Thanks thats cool good info cheers mate. https://www.wlsa.bravehost.com
Joecooke007 Posted November 25, 2001 Posted November 25, 2001 The word uniform come from the word uni or one. A gi's color should be that of the dojo. You may want to change color only to seperate high ranking students from low ranking ones. Boards don't hit back. -Bruce Lee
Disturbed Posted February 23, 2002 Posted February 23, 2002 My personal opinion on coloured gi's is that the club should have consistancy as long as all dress the same it's ok, but having a multi-coloured Dojo looks unproffesional, the logo should be the club badge on the breast and no more. WHO YOU ARE counts for a lot, but WHAT YOU DO makes all the difference.
ramcalgary Posted February 23, 2002 Posted February 23, 2002 it is substance not style or look that counts. Wear what you want so long as it not trashy or dirty. Just my opinion anyway. Honor is the most important thing a man has once you lose it it is gone forever
Joecooke007 Posted March 2, 2002 Posted March 2, 2002 They should always be white until you get bb. Then you can wear black. Boards don't hit back. -Bruce Lee
