KickChick Posted October 4, 2001 Posted October 4, 2001 Ah....I am actually considering kung fu. I am debating whether to go for my 2nd degree and continue in TKD ...(I have reached a plateau where I feel I have ceased to learn) ... my interest level needs to be peaked! arghh!!! I am at a crossroads here...I still will teach cardiokickboxing. Deby

SaiFightsMS Posted October 31, 2001 Posted October 31, 2001 :kaioken:And some of them got very heated. Better atmosphere in here though. :???:For a bit of trivia: one of the stories I have been told about the origin of the gi. I was told it is like underwear. When training had to be done in secret the outer clothes would be removed and training would be conducted in underwear. (Hey, have you ever seen pics of old time boxers in long johns?) So now when I see someone in full traditional Japanese dress I look a bit more carefully. Sometimes you can see the white on the inner layer under all the fancy outer stuff. Has anyone else ever noticed that?
the crow Posted November 7, 2001 Posted November 7, 2001 thats a good idea but i think you should stick to white
