Loren W. Christensen: ability to explain his experiences in a simple manner so it matters to you.

Mas Oyama: created the strongest karate style.

Chuck Norris: thought he could make his dreams come true by holding on to them, did it, and teaches you to do the same.

i myself am my own hero. i want to become exactly like he will be in future. and maybe even better in certain issues like martial arts or stuff ;)

which doesnt mean i dont look up to anybody.

but someone who inspires me? hmhmhm - no; guess theres nobody really.

u mean someone who makes me do things i until then didnt even think of? my mommy does this :D

no, just kidding.

i think i myself match again. when i suck at certain things (school, girls, martial arts, whatever...) the lack "inspires" me to make things better. i dont train to become like someone else and the only person i train for is myself. its my personal desire for some reasons.

my grandfather was a key figure in inspiring me, i also look at miyamoto musashi and chuck norris, bolo yung, jet li, many for their talent and abilities along with my instructor tom smith, many of the other staff members in my home class also...everyone has something to offer, you just have to be able to see it

That which does not destroy me will only make me stronger

Agreed

Yes the correct answer is look to yourself. But I really just consider this to be words of the wise wannabe's :P

There are hundreds of people that I admire but

Morio Higoanna - Goju elite

Geoff Thompson - zero to hero

karate & JJ instructors - there they are right in front of me, these guys with superior technique and ability to mine.

Spring to mind......

There are many others.

I keep asking God what I'm for and he tells me........."gee I'm not sure!"

I don't really have any "idols" as such... Not that I can think of, anyway.

I have a lot of respect and admiration both for my instructor and any other sensei (provided it's not a mcdojo! hehe, I love that term).

Also, a couple of my teachers from highschool -I won't say that I aspire to be like them or that they are an example, as such, but they are people I can respect and trust, which isn't something I got from my parents.

My role model/s would have to be the seniors at my dojo -even though we are very casual I am inspired and encouraged by their example.

In TSD, it would be my old TSD instructor. He was awsome, and very strict on technique. I like C.S. Kim, also (International TSD Fed). He is sharp! I have a few of his vids. His technique is almost perfect. I saw him at a tourny I attended, and he just floored me!

In TKD, it has to be my instructor. Very knowledgable. He knows a lot of pressure points. He knows about "ki" and meditation. His technique is also very good.

My fav famous person has to be Jackie Chan. He put my two fav things togehter .... Martial Arts and comedy :) He's a funny guy. Plus his stunt work is out of this world!
