Wasp, you COMPLETELY missed my point. We aren’t talking about holding someone down to break their leg! You said, if we can break bricks, why don’t we see fighter being broken in half, my reply was because we MOVE in a fight, where as a brink is still. Yes, if a human was held stable, a good hit would do the trick, but that isn’t the case. We are talking about a fight, not a POW camp. There is no one holding your leg down so they other guy can break it in a Tournament, at least no tournaments I’ve been too! My implication was during a fight, now some twisted torture chamber where the Henchmen hold you down while the interrogator snaps your legs into several pieces!

And my point is... it wouldn't work! Traditional breaking techniques would NOT break a leg doing this! Seriously! The granular composition of bricks and cinder blocks makes them easy to break if done "properly." I don't know the technique, I would probrably need a sledgehammer - are you implying that a 7-year old kid can hit with the power of a sledgehammer? It's all technique!

technique has its place in breaking, as it does in fighting, lifting, as may other aspects of life, but without strength, and chi/ki for those that beleive in it, you arn't going to do much breaking.

And yes, a break breaker could break a human leg. I think you don't understand how fragel the human body truly is, it would be easier to break a leg them a brick.

A 7-year old kid can break a pile of bricks. A 7-year old kid cannot break my leg. In fact, a 7-year old kid armed with a pipe wrench probrably still couldn't break my leg. Theory is all fine and good, but of little value when it does not adhere to the facts.

Facts? What facts? Better yet, what Theory? What in the name of all that is holy are you talking about? I've never seen or heard of a 7-year-old breaker, but if one could break a brick, he could break a leg.

The facts are:

Little kids can break bricks.

Little kids cannot break my legs.

Your theory is:

If one can break a brick, they can break a leg.

Obviously that theory does not agree with the facts. There are plenty of young children that are capable of breaking bricks, cinder blocks, and boards. I am shocked that you would continue to blindly fight this battle without any apparently research into the topic. Breaking bricks, cinder blocks, and boards is quite easy if you know the technique.

Facts? Really? Prove it. Find me ONE 7 year old who can break a brick, then set someones leg up between 2 bricks, and see if he can break that. These arn't facts. Facts are proven things. Find me a kid how was broke bricks, and has tried and can't break legsthe same way, then we will talk. ANd I'd liek to at least see a few pictures.

Well, I'm not really into taking pictures of little kids, but I'll point you to this site which has a technical explanation of how bricks/boards/etc are broken. It further states that a human bone can withstand 40 times as much force as concrete before it will break.
