CheekyMusician
I mainly listen to classical, baroque and romantic era orchestral music. Yip, call me sad if you want. Smile. It makes people wonder what you've been up to.
Fenris-wolf
Anything but country or boy bands I hear that. Pretty much covers my opinion... Although (but don't tell anyone), I do like some country. Yes, I'm scared too. Um, goddam, what's his name...? Sings "Solitary Man" It took me a while to finally admit that I like it and it's definately country. I mainly listen to classical, baroque and romantic era orchestral music. Yip, call me sad if you want. You're not sad! Not my primary taste in music but there's nothing better than diversity and in terms of classical music I have to say baroque and romantic are my favourite. Although I am partial to piano soloists, but as a pianist I'm a little biast! Let Us Turn The Jump Rope In Accord With Socialist Principles! battousai16
how do so many piano players exist!?! i swear, the piano is the single most impossible instrument to play. ever. hands down. i can't for the life of me play it. good thing i never have to, except for mallets, but i'm thinking that's slightly less difficult. fireka
i pretty much do everything, though my favorite is classic rock and i have a problem with modern rock. Some pop is okay, but the good stuff is barried in so much crap its hard to tell! i like Madonna, and i like whoever did that "There not gonna get us" yes, the video was gay.....literaly,....but the song is pretty good. Fenris-wolf
I've been playing piano since I was 5, so it doesn't seem hard to me. Now wind instruments... Jesus, they scare me! I mean, at least with a piano you can see what note you want! I find the drums quite easy (to a point), and other string instruments aren't bad, except for violin. Which I've never touched for fear of the sound I might make! Although honestly, I've played around with a double bass, which is the same theory, so I suppose I'm being silly. battousai16
hey, be nice! drums can be very challenging! it's easy to do simple beats, but to do them with skill and IN TIME takes... well... skill. also, then you can divert into all kinds of other percussion instruments and it's very hard to do everything with good technique. Fenris-wolf
Oh, I'm not dissing drums. I'm quite aware that while it's easy to alright, it's difficult to be good. I just meant that as an instrument they are one that I have a knack for. Good sense of timing, I guess. Seriously, one of my best friends is a jazz percussionist, and that is complicated! (He's very good). Let Us Turn The Jump Rope In Accord With Socialist Principles!
battousai16
yeah, i know some super good jazz percussionists too. one of them has played at carnagie hall. or carnegy. or whatever. i dunno. blast my inability to spell do to my citizenship as an american the guy is insanely good. not to mention some other guys i know who are so good it boggles the mind. and then there's me, struggling to play 4-mallet 007 theme on the marimba "I hear you can kill 200 men and play a mean six string at the same time..."-Six String Samurai
