HulkHogan Posted June 27, 2003 Posted June 27, 2003 I was Just Curious to which Martial art you would learn to defend your self against a street attack. Not that I go out and pick fights or anything but there must be one in which you learn how to fight the fastest. I was thinking either: muay thai, or krav maga. Whats your guys opinions? Kirves Posted June 27, 2003 Posted June 27, 2003 A.S.A.P.? #1: Krav Maga If I had even a month to prepare, then BJJ.
Treebranch Posted June 27, 2003 Posted June 27, 2003 Definitely Krava Maga. I would also highly recommend Kung Fu San Soo, it's fairly straight forward and brutal. "It is easier to find men who will volunteer to die, than to find those who are willing to endure pain with patience.""Lock em out or Knock em out"
G95champ Posted June 28, 2003 Posted June 28, 2003 Both will do fine I would agree that KM may have a bit over MT because its focus on weapon defense. However both are quick and to the point. (General George S. Patton Jr.) "It's the unconquerable soul of man, and not the nature of the weapon he uses, that ensures victory."
granmasterchen Posted June 28, 2003 Posted June 28, 2003 also try to hind any type of hybrid system That which does not destroy me will only make me stronger
HulkHogan Posted June 28, 2003 Author Posted June 28, 2003 I suppose I should have been more specific on how fast you would defend yourself. I was meaning a year of consistant training. Conisistant training would be practicing for 6 hours a day 6 times a week. Martial Arts Experience-learning a form of jujutsuThis is for all you Hulkamaniacs out there!
