PrideampPoise Posted October 26, 2004 Posted October 26, 2004 Getting kicked in the nuts hurts, but also p*sses you off and releases adreneline. It seems getting kicked in the nuts just means it's butt kickin time. Fortunately, I can't speak from too much experience, but I think that depends a lot on the exact placement and power of the strike. A lot like any other target area I guess, except that it just doesn't take as much to reach the "breaking" (OUCH!) point.
47MartialMan Posted October 27, 2004 Posted October 27, 2004 But, contrary to what some will believe, a groin shot can be handled
Cybren Posted October 27, 2004 Posted October 27, 2004 To be honest I always thought the light tap hurts more than the hard smash.
47MartialMan Posted October 27, 2004 Posted October 27, 2004 It depends on the angle and contact area. And of course one's tolerence for pain.
pyeman Posted November 16, 2004 Posted November 16, 2004 I enter regular competitions and i think without a groin guard i would now be female without it! anone who know's what i'm talking about will i understand what i mean!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! some day i will be great, untill then you'll have to settle with this
47MartialMan Posted November 16, 2004 Posted November 16, 2004 yeah- I know what you mean....but it still hurts and it still get it there more as years go by.

Bip Posted April 19, 2005 Posted April 19, 2005 But, contrary to what some will believe, a groin shot can be handledI believe this.I have taken some hard squar shots in the balls and it did hurt for a few seconds but I was able to fight without missing a beat!It just made me really madd and fight even harder!! But as for the women, I have seen some almost go into shock from the pain from a hard kick in the genitals when I was a assistant coach on a women's soccer team. But a women's genitals are also highly sensitive to any type of strike. And can be very dangerious as well!
boomerang Posted April 20, 2005 Posted April 20, 2005 Eight years ago i received a kick in the nads during sparring(a side kick counter to my back kick ) To save face i quickly recovered and continued sparing ( I had,nt long achieved black belt ) After training i had little feel and found the left fella was growing fast. In the car on the way home i went into shock ( blood supply to exextremities cut off to save brain )I had split one of me nads! I was in hospital five days, Out of work for three months, Out of training for nine months. I eventually achieved my 2nd dan. Moral to this story is. No matter how good you think you are,Always ware a box when sparring
