Be as a tranquil pool of water in the woods. Calm, collected, reflecting on its surface all that is around it. Make your own mind such a quiet mirror reflecting the mind of the opponent. Geesh, if he can get up close, then very effective, if he can't then not effective at all.How is it similar and how is it different? Like nite and day. I punch and kick, elbow and knee. In judo they grab, toss and roll. Couldn't be more different.Do you do much full contact sparring in your style? All the time.
