hobbitbob Posted June 22, 2003 Posted June 22, 2003 Next weekend Denver is having its annual Cherry Blossom Festival in Sakura Square. There will be exhibitions of Noh, Japanese Music, and martial arts galore! usually there is Shotokan, Wado Ryu, Shindo Jinen Ryu, Shorin Ryu, kobudo, Naginata Do, Kendo, Aikido and Judo. Do the places where others on this forum reside hold similar affairs? There have always been Starkadders at Cold Comfort Farm!
kajukenbo dad Posted June 22, 2003 Posted June 22, 2003 sure a good way to show case M/a..........Good Luck ,have lots of fun Practice is the best of all instructors...
capn_midnight Posted June 22, 2003 Posted June 22, 2003 are they only doing Noh? what about the kabuki and banruki? we had a multi-culti day at work last week. They had a koto quartet playing in the lobby. It was cool. Arguing with an engineer is like mud wrestling a pig. After a few hours, you realize they both like it.
ZR440 Posted June 23, 2003 Posted June 23, 2003 Blossoms? That's kinda late compared to here. We have the National Cherry Festival starting on July 4th, but there isn't any martial arts demos. It's happy hour somewhere in the world.
