AnonymousOne Posted January 31, 2005 Posted January 31, 2005 Yes there is a special way to tie your belt and if you are a gorgeous female I will give private lessons on putting on and taking off your gi over and over. Repetition is the mother of learning darlings !! Haha Dont tell my Mrs about this post! Haha 7th Dan ChidokaiA true combat warrior has to be hard as nails in mind, body and soul. Repetition is the mother of learning darlings !! Haha ...damn that was so hilarious... .... this is a dead topic! if u cant tie your belt... u should still be a white belt! unless you are currently a white belt, in which case u should not progress untill you take some time in a room with no distractions and think mighty hard as to how your could remedy this horrible situation you are in!
AnonymousOne Posted February 4, 2005 Posted February 4, 2005 I agree KaiShin, either that or take up my offer, assuming they meet the criteria 7th Dan ChidokaiA true combat warrior has to be hard as nails in mind, body and soul. baronbvp Posted February 27, 2005 Posted February 27, 2005 Tie a square knot in the front after crossing one end under and around the whole thing. A square knot has both bitter ends of the belt protruding together on one side, either into or out from the knot (toward your body or away from it). If the bitter ends are opposite each other, then you have a granny knot and it will come untied quickly. karatekid101 Posted March 12, 2005 Posted March 12, 2005 Are you sure you are tying the sides of your Gi? KarateKid101"The answers to life aren't in the back of the book"- Charlie Brown
Corpand Posted March 19, 2005 Posted March 19, 2005 I actually have a problem. Both my straps tore off so the only thing keeping my gi together is my belt If I dont have it you don't need it!
ialwaysgethit Posted March 19, 2005 Posted March 19, 2005 I tie it in a reef knot, scouts use the hall we train in so there is a board with lots of knots on, its a good learning aid. oliver willison
ialwaysgethit Posted March 19, 2005 Posted March 19, 2005 I just googled it and i found this website, it looks about right. http://www.combatteam.com/belt.html oliver willison
