ZR440 Posted June 20, 2003 Posted June 20, 2003 So who's been flooded out on the east coast so far? It seems like there's a permanent cloud hanging over that area. It's happy hour somewhere in the world.
monkeygirl Posted June 20, 2003 Posted June 20, 2003 2 weeks ago many of the lower roads in my area were closed because of flooding. My family lives on fairly high ground and we don't have a basement, so we personally don't have any flooding. I know some people who have 4 feet of water in their basements, though It just seems like last summer we couldn't get enough rain, and this summer we're gonna get washed out. We need the rain, but at the same time it's killing the corn, and it's too wet to make hay. Sheesh, I sound like an old local lady 1st dan & Asst. SBN Doug Posted June 20, 2003 Posted June 20, 2003 Yeah, I don't want to hear any weather people talking about drought for at least 3 years. Nothing much to do but sit around and sip on an ice cold Yeungling's. Kuk Sool Won - 4th danEvil triumphs when good men do nothing.

G95champ Posted June 20, 2003 Posted June 20, 2003 Mingo Co. in WV where I live is flooding good. Ive been ok because we live on a hill but its been pretty wild. (General George S. Patton Jr.) "It's the unconquerable soul of man, and not the nature of the weapon he uses, that ensures victory."
ZR440 Posted June 20, 2003 Author Posted June 20, 2003 Where is everyone? Jeez, you can barely drive anywhere in my area during late afternoon. It's happy hour somewhere in the world.

Welcome to the City of Barrie That's near downtown and on the waterfront; on "the strip" where the malls are it would be a zoo about now.
