yes we wear headgear also.

I just cant see sparring without punching to the face...

True, but the face is a dangerous place to be hit, esspecially if you catch him leaning into it by accident. I ususally target the forehead (when sparring) when I would normally target the face in a real fight.

yes I usally hit the forehead aswell with straight punches..but hooks an uppercuts are harder not to hit with.

But IMO it's very important to learn how to take a hit without getting scared/flinching/backing up etc.

Just say your right, you could knock me out with a properly executed, powerful kick to the head.

Let his ego be your advantage. Because then even if you do out spar him he will still think, but i could easily knock him out with a kick to the head. Mean while you keep on agreeing and keep on out sparring him.

Hey TJS I would let you hit me in the face if we were sparring. I mean how am I supposed to learn how to move realistically if you can't punch to the head. In a real situation that's the number one target people go for. A punch to the head is alot harder to handle than a kick to the head. TKD kicks aren't as powerful as they could be, especially the round house kick. It's kind of a snapping kick, Muy Thai kicks I'd worry about. Keep walking into him and he won't be able to get any high kicks in. :D
