capn_midnight
the problem with the flash kick is that it is counter-intuitive, and thereby not very powerful. The power of the kick is souly in how fast you can perform the back flip, but extending your leg to actually perform the kick slows you down tremendously. Also, when in the middle of the back flip, if you connect with anything substantial, you will most likely bounce off. The physics just won't allow it. Flash kick is a very appropriate name. Arguing with an engineer is like mud wrestling a pig. After a few hours, you realize they both like it.

bladeboy22
alright first learn a really good round off and be able to jump up put pf it. Then after you get good at those get over the fear of going backwards by learning backflips with a spotter. after you get over the fear then do a backflip after the round off. then add the kick. most people kick with the right leg. some people trail their left leg back others chamber it, that's up to your own prefrance. the biggest thing is to get over the fear. here's a link to help http://www.trickstutorials.com/ F.E.A.R.-False Evidence Appearing Real"just jump flip and kick its that easy""It's all in your head, get over it"2nd Degree Black BeltInstructor @ MAI Karate in Canton, Connecticut
