Joggy Posted June 17, 2003 Author Posted June 17, 2003 Music kata is a mix of karate techniques and gymnastics. you could call it freestyle karate. the karateka does some wild jumping and kicking and the whole stuff. his moves and his correography fit with a background music. SaiFightsMS Posted June 18, 2003 Posted June 18, 2003 Most musical katas you see done in competition were created by the person peforming with help from their instructors.
Guest Posted June 18, 2003 Posted June 18, 2003 The kind of music that is good w/ freestyle forms have consistant beats where you can identify that note and match a punch/strike/block along with it. Also, try to use something that a general audience would like and be more apt to enjoying your performance.
