we only know them by....Butterfly swords...19" chrome.....But Iam sure we are talking about the same weapon.

the ones with the hook on the nearside of the grip for turning on your thumb...

 

well, you might have figured that we use them in wing chun and it's often regarded as the highest level training set. some will argue that it's biy gee. i'd argue that they are the same but that's another discussion...

 

what do you want to know. there are lots of us wing chun guys here who can answer your questions.

we use 'em in hwarang do too. personally i think they look a little dull, but that's just me.

well, like most things in wing chun, it looks dull but it works...

yeah, i have no experience with them, except for in a video game, where they seemed to work ok. i don't know, they seem like they would work. i'm not bashing them in any way, it's just the form he was doing with them was long and dull and... well... yeah. they didn't seem like the most exciting thing ever, but that dosen't mean they're not effective.
