Pacificshore Posted June 12, 2003 Posted June 12, 2003 Is this the Victor Marx version of karate? Di'DaDeeeee!!!Mind of Mencia
Sho-ju Posted June 12, 2003 Author Posted June 12, 2003 Ya, thanks the one. Just wondering what kata they study?
Pacificshore Posted June 13, 2003 Posted June 13, 2003 I don't personally study that style of karate, but a good friend of mine does. I went with him to his Black Belt test last year, and if I recall right, many of their katas have resemblences to the Japanese/Okinawan flavor. I know they have a website up. Have you tried doing a search for it in google? Di'DaDeeeee!!!Mind of Mencia

BayouGirl Posted June 16, 2003 Posted June 16, 2003 Is this the Victor Marx version of karate? Actually Keichu is a style founded by Karl Marx in New Orleans, La. and is sometimes referred to Cajun Karate. Sensei Marx has his own Dojo now in Calif. and his students compete in the USKA. My sensei use to teach Keichu here in Louisiana. BayouGirl
