my dojo is really training hard on punching reverse ounches mainly but my sensei really makes sure we have or fist in correct form loose then tight at the end ect and your wrist has to be straight, not bent. beacuse if you have it bent we have so much power in our punch that if its not correct you can or will break your fist if you hit someone or something. i agree with him fulley. and one more thing is to make sure you hit with the 2 knuckles (middle, and pointer). do you guys have to do the same in your training?

That is the proper way to line up the bones in the hand and forearm to create the most stable and strongest punch. All the arts I have studied teach the basic punch this way.
