Drunken Monkey Posted June 17, 2003 Share Posted June 17, 2003 i don't think there's much point in replying to muay thai fighter anymore. all he keeps saying is that everything else is rubbish except pankration which he insists on being a mix of muay thai and bjj. he says that whatever i say doesn't matter to him because i've only ever practised "traditional" arts. i'll just be wasting time answering him. every post he has made, in my opinion has just been insulting to other styles. post count is directly related to how much free time you have, not how intelligent you are."When you have to kill a man it costs nothing to be polite." Doesn't mean this New "Prankration" is not effective, but it is obvisiously has some good marketing in its favour. Westerners will take to it quicker and it sounds exotic. Anyway getting back to the topic. Sometimes untrained people can be scary to fight. Some people have this wildness that is unpredictable, and merely trading punches might be a big mistake.
