eanels68 Posted June 10, 2003 Posted June 10, 2003 I am wondering for those of you that have read these magazines, which magazine do you think is better. I like to read them with the different techniques and just the basic learning of things, and what is going on in the MA world. I do not have a subscription yet, but I am planning on getting one. Right now I am leaning on getting Black Belt magazine. Let me hear what others think about the magazines. Erik
monkeygirl Posted June 10, 2003 Posted June 10, 2003 I prefer Black Belt magazine. It just seems like it's of a higher quality than other MA magazines. It's still not top-notch journalism, but I like their graphics, and they explain things pretty well. Lots of pictures, lots of good techniques. 1st dan & Asst. tommarker Posted June 10, 2003 Posted June 10, 2003 Journal of Asian Martial Arts I'm no longer posting here. Adios.
karatekid1975 Posted June 10, 2003 Posted June 10, 2003 I like Tae Kwon Do Times better. But I have a subscription to Black belt mag. TKD times is mostly Korean arts, and good articles. But Black belt has more range of arts, and good pictures (techniques). I like to read about (or research) other arts, so Black Belt is good for that. Laurie F
